Leeds Rhinos have officially announced their squad numbers for the 2026 Super League season, with a clear statement of intent around leadership and continuity at Headingley.
Versatile back Ash Handley will captain the side in 2026, taking on the role after being named in the number 4 jersey, while experienced forward Kallum Watkins has been confirmed as vice-captain and will again wear number 11. The appointments underline Leeds’ focus on experience and standards as they look to build on recent progress.
At the top of the list, Lachie Miller retains the number 1 jumper as first-choice fullback, with new recruit Maika Sivo lining up on the wing in the number 2 shirt. The centres remain settled, with Harry Newman (3) partnering captain Handley (4), while club legend Ryan Hall continues in the number 5 jersey.
The halves pairing of Brodie Croft (6) and Jake Connor (7) shapes as a key focal point once again, offering creativity, game management and attacking spark. Through the middle, Mikolaj Oledzki (8), Jarrod O’Connor (9) and Tom Holroyd (10) form a powerful engine room, supported by a hard-working back-row featuring Watkins, James McDonnell (12) and Keenan Palasia (13).
Leeds’ interchange and rotation options include Cameron Smith (17), Ethan O’Neill (16) and Cooper Jenkins (15), while Max Simpson (18) continues his return to consistent first-grade involvement. A number of promising young players have also been allocated squad numbers, including Presley Cassell (20), Alfie Edgell (21) and Riley Lumb (22).
Beyond the numbered squad, Leeds have confirmed a strong group of additional first-team members pushing for opportunities in 2026, highlighting the club’s depth and long-term planning.
