The New Zealand Warriors joined the Australian Rugby League competition in 1995 and remain the only NRL club based in New Zealand. The club has developed a strong following across New Zealand and the Pacific, producing some of the game’s most memorable players and representative stars.
The Warriors reached their first finals series in 2001, claimed their first minor premiership in 2002 and made Grand Final appearances in 2002 and 2011. The club continues to be one of the NRL’s most passionate and widely supported teams.
