The Melbourne Storm entered the NRL in 1998 and quickly became one of the most successful clubs in the modern era. Based in Victoria, the Storm helped establish rugby league in a traditionally AFL-dominated market while developing a reputation for excellence both on and off the field.
After winning their first premiership in 1999, Melbourne became one of the NRL’s strongest dynasties under long-serving coach Craig Bellamy. The club has consistently featured in finals football, produced some of the game’s greatest players and built a reputation as one of the most professionally run organisations in Australian sport.
