The South Sydney Rabbitohs have secured another piece of their forward pack for the future, re-signing Thomas Fletcher on a new deal that will keep him at the club through the end of the 2027 NRL season.

The 21-year-old made his NRL debut against the Brisbane Broncos in Round 22 and is considered one of the club’s brightest young talents. A former Australian Schoolboys representative in 2022, Fletcher has impressed with his athleticism and work ethic as he continues to develop his game in the top grade.

Fletcher’s re-signing comes just a day after South Sydney confirmed the blockbuster signing of David Fifita from the Gold Coast Titans, signalling the club’s intent to rebuild its forward pack around a mix of youthful energy and star power.

With his new contract, Fletcher will be looking to build on his debut season and push for more consistent NRL match experience under the Rabbitohs’ 2026–27 plans.
