Why Squad Numbers Matter
While traditional rugby league positions are often associated with numbers one to 13, modern squad numbering has become an important indicator of a club’s plans. New recruits are often handed prestigious low numbers, while highly-rated academy players can earn promotion into the senior squad following impressive pre-season performances.
Every confirmed 2027 Super League squad number announcement will be added to this page as clubs release their official lists.
