The NRL has confirmed the schedule for Week 2 of the 2026 NRL Finals Series and Week 1 of the NRL Women’s Finals, setting up a huge weekend of knockout rugby league across Australia and New Zealand.

Four sudden-death matches will be played across the men’s and women’s competitions, headlined by an all-Sydney NRL semi-final between the Sydney Roosters and Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks, while the New Zealand Warriors will host a historic finals match at Eden Park against the Newcastle Knights.

In the NRLW, two first-time finalists will meet when the Wests Tigers take on the Canberra Raiders, while defending premiers Brisbane Broncos face the Newcastle Knights in the second elimination final.

On Sunday, the Warriors will bring finals football to Eden Park, hosting the Knights in what shapes as one of the biggest games in the club’s recent history. The Auckland crowd is expected to pack the venue as the Warriors look to continue their premiership charge on home soil.
