Match Review Committee Hands Down First Round 2 Charges

Lindsay Collins, Siua Wong and David Fifita have been charged by the NRL Match Review Committee following Friday night’s Round 2 matches in the 2026 NRL season.

The Sydney Roosters duo were both cited for Grade 1 shoulder charges, while South Sydney Rabbitohs forward David Fifita faces a fine after being charged with a Grade 1 careless high tackle.

All three players are eligible for financial penalties if they accept the early guilty plea, avoiding the need for a hearing at the NRL Judiciary.

Charge Breakdown

Lindsay Collins (Roosters)

Collins has been charged with a Grade 1 Shoulder Charge following an incident involving Campbell Graham during the Roosters’ Round 2 clash.

  • Early Plea: $1,500 fine
  • If Guilty at Panel: $2,000 fine

Siua Wong (Roosters)

Wong was also cited for a Grade 1 Shoulder Charge, with the charge relating to contact involving Jack Wighton.

  • Early Plea: $1,500 fine
  • If Guilty at Panel: $2,000 fine

David Fifita (Rabbitohs)

Rabbitohs forward Fifita has been charged with a Grade 1 Careless High Tackle on Robert Toia.

  • Early Plea: $1,000 fine
  • If Guilty at Panel: $1,500 fine
