Manly’s superstar fullback Tom Trbojevic has ended speculation about his future by re-signing with the Sea Eagles for the next two seasons, keeping him at the club until the end of 2027.

The 29-year-old has been a cornerstone of the Sea Eagles’ squad since making his debut in 2015, and the new deal will see him enter his 12th NRL season in 2026. A local junior and Dally M Medal winner, Trbojevic has scored 111 tries in 170 matches, cementing his status as one of the most dynamic and influential players in the modern game.

Rumours had swirled in recent months that Trbojevic might explore a move abroad, with Super League clubs reportedly circling in hopes of securing his signature. However, those talks have now been put to rest as the Origin and Test representative reaffirmed his commitment to the northern beaches club.

Last season, Trbojevic endured a challenging period when coach Anthony Seibold experimented with a positional shift, moving him to the centres for five matches while Lehi Hopoate filled the fullback role. The move, designed to ease Trbojevic’s injury load, was short-lived — but it highlighted the club’s depth and the evolution of their backline options.

Trbojevic’s re-signing is a major boost for Manly ahead of the 2026 campaign, with the Sea Eagles looking to build on a promising 2025 season and push deep into the finals next year.
