The Wigan Warriors have officially confirmed their squad numbers for the 2026 Super League season, locking in shirt allocations across a 34-man first-team squad.

A total of 14 players have retained their numbers from last season, providing continuity as Wigan prepare for another title push, while new signings, academy graduates and emerging prospects have all been formally assigned jerseys.

Among the new recruits, Oliver Wilson will wear the No.21 jersey in his first season at the club, while Finn McMillan has been allocated No.35. Young talents Jonny Vaughan and Dayon Sambou have also been confirmed in the senior squad, taking shirt numbers 31 and 32 respectively.

Wigan have also confirmed squad numbers for academy graduates stepping up into the first-team environment in 2026, with George O’Loughlin handed No.33 and Finlay Yeomans receiving No.34 — marking an important milestone in their development pathways.

At the top end of the squad, Jai Field retains the No.1 jersey, while key senior figures such as Liam Farrell (c), Bevan French, Jake Wardle and Liam Marshall all keep their familiar numbers heading into the new campaign.

In a tradition that dates back to 2008, the No.18 jersey has once again been reserved for the Wigan Warriors fans, recognising the club’s loyal supporter base and their ongoing role as the “18th man”.

Wigan’s full squad number announcement brings further clarity as preparations continue for the 2026 season, with fans now able to wear their chosen player’s jersey with official numbering locked in.
