The Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks have locked in two exciting talents, with Sam Stonestreet and Prestyn Laine-Sietu both committing their futures to the club.

Stonestreet, 23, has become a fan favourite after making an instant impact in the NRL, scoring 16 tries in 16 games since his debut. He has now extended his deal until the end of the 2026 season, giving the Sharks strike power out wide as they build towards the future.

Emerging centre Prestyn Laine-Sietu has also re-signed, committing until the end of 2028. At just 19 years old, Laine-Sietu has shown his potential in the Jersey Flegg competition, and the Sharks have moved quickly to ensure he remains part of their long-term plans.

The dual signings underline the Sharks’ focus on developing and retaining homegrown talent while maintaining a strong pipeline into the NRL squad.
