Round 27 Preview
The panel has delivered one of its strongest consensus rounds of the season, with six unanimous selections. Every tipster is backing the Bulldogs, Dolphins, Rabbitohs, Storm, Eels and Panthers to get the job done.
The only games producing any real disagreement are Warriors vs Sea Eagles and Cowboys vs Raiders. Matt Pritchard is the lone panellist backing Manly to upset the competition leaders in Auckland, while three tipsters (Andrew Pelechaty, Brendan Wood and Matt Attard) are siding with Canberra against North Queensland.
The biggest statement tip belongs to Lachlan Jeffery, who is forecasting a remarkable Rabbitohs by 54 demolition of the Roosters. Meanwhile, competition leader Matt Attard has gone hardest on Penrith, tipping the Panthers to defeat the Tigers by 28 points.
After gaining ground in Round 26, Brendan Wood, Nathan Smith and Jem Nash will be hoping the few split games fall their way as they attempt to chase down leader Matt Attard, whose advantage has been cut to just three points heading into Round 27.
