Match Review Committee Hands Down Final Round 4 Charge

Moeaki Fotuaika has been charged by the NRL Match Review Committee following Sunday’s Round 4 matches in the 2026 NRL season.

The Gold Coast Titans forward was the only player charged from the day, with the incident involving a careless high tackle during the second half.

Fotuaika has been charged with a Grade 1 Careless High Tackle following an incident involving Hamish Stewart in the 43rd minute.

  • Early Plea: $1,000 fine
  • If Guilty at Panel: $1,500 fine

What Happens Next

The Titans forward must decide whether to:

  • Accept the early guilty plea, or
  • Challenge the charge at the NRL Judiciary panel.

Any contested charges would be heard early next week.
