Players Charged in Round 10 (Friday)

  • Victor Radley – Careless High Tackle (Grade 2)
  • Moeaki Fotuaika – Dangerous Contact (Grade 1)
  • Scott Drinkwater – Dangerous Contact (Grade 1)

Key Charge

Victor Radley (Roosters)

Radley has been charged with a Grade 2 Careless High Tackle following contact involving AJ Brimson in the ninth minute. He was not so lucky this week after being charged multiple times in the Roosters win over the Broncos at Allianz Stadium on May 2.

The Roosters forward is now facing a suspension.

  • Early Plea: 1-match suspension
  • If Guilty at Panel: 2-match suspension

Other Charges

Moeaki Fotuaika (Titans)

Fotuaika was charged with Grade 1 Dangerous Contact following an incident involving Siua Wong.

Due to it being a third and subsequent offence, the Titans forward faces a substantial penalty.

  • Early Plea: $3,000 fine
  • If Guilty at Panel: 2-match suspension

Scott Drinkwater (Cowboys)

Drinkwater has been charged with Grade 1 Dangerous Contact after an incident involving Mitchell Moses when he landed the winning field goal in golden point. This resulted in a rare three-point play where a player was fouled in the attempt of a successful field goal.

  • Early Plea: $1,000 fine
  • If Guilty at Panel: $1,500 fine

What Happens Next

The charged players must decide whether to:

  • Accept the early guilty plea, or
  • Challenge the charge at the NRL Judiciary panel.

Any contested matters will be heard early next week.

This article will be updated if further charges are laid from Round 10 matches.
