The Wests Tigers have secured the futures of emerging stars Tristan Hope and Charlie Murray, signing both to development contracts that will see them remain with the club through the end of the 2026 NRL season.
Both players made their NRL debuts in 2025 and have been consistent performers for the Western Suburbs Magpies in the NSW Cup. Hope, previously on a train-and-trial deal, has been upgraded to the top 30, while Murray will join the development squad next year.
Having lifted the Queensland Cup Premiership together with the Brisbane Tigers in 2023, both are known for their hard work and consistency. Now aged 28 (Hope) and 23 (Murray), they have impressed during their NRL opportunities.
Their re-signings come amid a Tigers roster overhaul under CEO Shane Richardson, who recently confirmed a series of high-impact signings aimed at improving the squad’s depth for 2026.
