Brisbane Broncos premiership winner Payne Haas has signed with South Sydney for three seasons, starting in 2027.

While rumoured to be heading to the now-delayed Rugby360, Haas surprised everyone by signing with the Rabbitohs.

He’s played 142 games in eight seasons at Brisbane, 17 Origins for NSW, four Tests for Australia, and three for Samoa, establishing himself as arguably the premier prop in the NRL.

He played 24 games for Brisbane last season and was a vital part of their premiership run.

While the contract is subject to a 10-day cooling off period, Haas should be a Rabbitoh from 2027.
