Bradford Bulls have locked in their squad numbers for 2026 – their first Super League campaign in 12 years – as the club prepares for its long-awaited top-flight return.

Joe Mellor will captain the side after arriving in the off-season, with a squad packed with experienced recruits, Championship mainstays and a powerful core of players retained from last year’s promotion push.

The Bulls, who last featured in Super League in 2014, will be looking to make a statement as they rejoin England’s elite alongside fellow newcomers Toulouse Olympique and York.

Leadership & spine settled

New skipper Mellor will marshal the side around the park, supported by a spine featuring:

  • Caleb Aekins (1) at fullback
  • Rowan Milnes (7) and Mellor in the halves
  • Andy Ackers (9) at hooker

The Bulls’ backline also boasts NRL experience through Waqa Blake (4) and Esan Marsters (3), joined by new signing Jayden Okunbor (2) and flyer Ethan Ryan (5) returning to Odsal.

Power through the middle

There’s size and depth across the forwards:

  • Loghan Lewis (10)
  • Ebon Scurr (16)
  • Eribe Doro (15)
  • Zac Fulton (12)
  • Dan Russell (11)

With young prop Leon Ruan rounding out the primary squad at No.30, the Bulls look well-stocked for the rigours ahead.

Clubs still to name numbers

Bradford’s announcement comes as several Super League sides hold off final confirmation.
Catalans Dragons, Leigh Leopards, Toulouse Olympique and York are all still yet to unveil their full 2026 allocations.
