Last Five Results: Warrington 23-16 Wakefield (06/9/19), Warrington 30-6 Wakefield (21/6/19), Wakefield 32-34 Warrington (21/3/19), Wakefield 23-36 Warrington (28/9/18), Wakefield 30-32 Warrington (17/6/18)

Key Stat

Warrington have won nine of their last 10 meetings against Wakefield and comfortably dispatched defending champions St Helens last time out. Wakefield’s last win against Wire came back in July 2017 but have run the Wolves close on home turf in recent seasons.

Prediction

It’s difficult to look past anything other than a Warrington win. Steve Price’s side battled superbly with a man less against Wigan in round one before producing a stunning performance to nil St Helens last time out. Trinity were well-beaten by Hull KR in their only fixture so far and will be up against it from the first whistle on Sunday afternoon.
