Veteran prop Julian Bousquet has extended his stay at Catalans Dragons, signing a new one-year deal that will take him through to the end of the 2026 Super League season.
Bousquet, 34, remains a cornerstone of the Dragons’ forward pack. A product of Lézignan, he joined Catalans in 2012 and has since become one of the club’s most decorated players. With 303 Super League appearances and 33 tries to his name, Bousquet is second only to Rémi Casty on the all-time games list for the Dragons.
His re-signing comes during a busy week for Catalans, following the confirmed additions of Harvey Wilson from Salford and Solomona Faataape from Wests Tigers, as new head coach Joel Tomkins continues shaping the 2026 squad.
“I’m very proud to extend my time with Catalans Dragons for another year,” said Bousquet. “A big thank you to the club’s management and coaching staff for their trust.”
Tomkins praised the re-signing: “Julian is an integral part of the Dragons squad and club as a whole. It’s fantastic news that he has decided to play on for another season. I believe he is still in his prime and his presence in the squad will be huge for us next year.”
