Hull FC have secured the services of veteran playmaker Aidan Sezer for a further season, with the halfback signing a contract extension that will keep him at the club until the end of 2027.
Sezer, 34, was already contracted for 2026 but his new deal provides Hull FC with additional stability and leadership in the halves as the club continues its revival under John Cartwright.
With over 250 career appearances spanning both the NRL and Super League, Sezer’s organisational skills and kicking game have been key in transforming Hull’s fortunes in 2025. The Black & Whites currently sit just outside the top six, and the experienced half is seen as pivotal to any push for finals football in the coming seasons.
Sezer’s career has taken him from the Gold Coast Titans, Wests Tigers and Canberra Raiders in the NRL to stints at Huddersfield Giants, Leeds Rhinos, and now Hull FC in Super League. His wealth of experience, calm head, and ability to control matches continue to make him one of the competition’s most reliable playmakers.
