The Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles have pulled off a major recruitment move, securing the signature of powerhouse forward Davvy Moale on a three-year deal starting in the 2027 NRL season.
Moale, one of the most promising young props in the game, will make the switch from South Sydney, where he has developed through the Rabbitohs system and built his reputation as a hard-running, no-nonsense middle forward.
Still just in his early 20s, Moale has already shown he can match it with the best, combining size, strength, and mobility in the middle of the field. His move to Manly shapes as a long-term investment for the Sea Eagles, who have been active in bolstering their pack for the future.
The Christchurch-born prop has represented the Rabbitohs in 70 matches after making his debut against the Dragons at Suncorp Stadium in late-2021.
Sea Eagles fans can look forward to Moale bringing plenty of impact and energy when he joins the Northern Beaches club in 2027. With three years locked in, he has the opportunity to cement himself as a cornerstone of Manly’s forward rotation and continue his development under Anthony Seibold’s coaching staff.
Rabbitohs fans will farewell a homegrown talent, while Manly supporters will be counting down the days until Moale pulls on the maroon and white jersey for the first time.
