The Manly Warringah Sea Eagles have continued their recruitment drive with the signing of Blake Wilson from the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs. The 25-year-old outside back joins the northern beaches club after a season of limited opportunities in 2025, featuring in six NRL matches for the Bulldogs.
Wilson’s last appearance came in Round 15, helping the Bulldogs to a 24-6 victory over the Rabbitohs at Accor Stadium. Across his NRL career, Wilson has scored 12 tries, showcasing his finishing ability and pace out wide. The move to Manly represents a fresh start for the talented winger, who will look to reignite his career under coach Anthony Seibold in 2026.
The signing comes as part of a busy recruitment period for the Sea Eagles. Earlier this week, the club secured the services of Kobe Hetherington on a four-year deal — read more about that signing here. Hetherington’s addition brings toughness and versatility to the forward pack, complementing Manly’s other major acquisition, Jamal Fogarty, who joined from the Canberra Raiders earlier this year on a three-year contract.
With Wilson, Hetherington, and Fogarty all on board, the Sea Eagles are building a balanced and competitive roster designed to challenge for a finals berth in 2026. The blend of youth, experience, and renewed attacking spark could prove crucial as Manly looks to climb back into premiership contention.
