The Parramatta Eels have confirmed that Ryley Smith has re-signed on a two-year development contract, extending his commitment through to the end of the 2027 NRL season.

The 22-year-old hooker has made 14 first-grade appearances, having previously played for the Penrith Panthers’ NSW Cup team before joining the Eels in 2023.

Smith debuted in the NRL in 2025 and has since developed into a key contributor for Parramatta, known for his sharp distribution, defensive tenacity, and composure under pressure. His performances have solidified his position as a promising talent in the Eels’ roster.

This latest move reflects the club’s intent to retain core talent as they continue to build for the future under coach Jason Ryles.
