A total of 13 players were charged by the NRL Match Review Committee in Round 22, with the majority accepting early pleas for fines. The biggest sanction was handed to Tigers forward Alex Seyfarth, who will serve a three-match suspension for a Grade 2 careless high tackle on Bulldogs hooker Harry Hayes — his third or subsequent offence.
Also suspended is Jesse Colquhoun (Sharks), who accepted a one-match ban for dangerous contact, and Felise Kaufusi (Dolphins), who will miss two matches after a Grade 2 charge stemming from Friday’s clash with the Warriors.
Alex Twal, James Tedesco, Reece Walsh, Luke Brooks, Isaiah Tass, and Brian To’o were among the players fined for lower-grade offences, while Warriors young gun Samuel Healey was pinged twice in one game — both resulting in fines.
