Hull FC have secured the signature of Jake Arthur, with the playmaker set to join the club on a two-year contract from the 2026 Super League season.

Arthur, 22, will arrive from the NRL where he has featured for the Parramatta Eels, Manly Sea Eagles and Newcastle Knights since making his debut in 2021. Known for his composure and organisational skills in the halves, Arthur will be looking to establish himself as a regular first-team playmaker in England.

The move will see him link up with John Cartwright, who is set to take charge of Hull FC. In a unique twist, Arthur’s father, Brad Arthur, is currently head coach at Leeds Rhinos, meaning the pair will be on opposite sides of a fierce Super League rivalry.

Arthur’s signing adds to Hull FC’s ongoing rebuild as they look to climb back into Super League playoff contention. His experience in the NRL, combined with his potential for growth, makes him a valuable addition to the squad for the 2026 and 2027 campaigns.
