The Dolphins have locked in one of their brightest stars for the long haul, with English international Herbie Farnworth re-signing with the club until the end of 2027.
Since joining the Dolphins in 2024, the 25-year-old has become a cornerstone of the team’s backline and a fan favourite for his power, speed, and passion on the field.
Farnworth has now played 118 NRL games in total, including 39 for the Dolphins, and his impact has been massive since making the move north.
Before his hamstring injury against the Warriors in Round 22, the Dolphins were right in the mix for their first-ever NRL finals appearance — a testament to how far the club has come in just a short time.
Coach Kristian Woolf and the squad will no doubt be thrilled to have Farnworth locked in for the next few seasons as they continue to build towards sustained success.
The Dolphins’ faithful can breathe easy knowing one of their most dynamic talents is staying put. With Farnworth’s trademark determination and explosive running back in the mix, the team’s quest for their first finals appearance looks more achievable than ever.
