Castleford Tigers have confirmed that George Lawler has re-signed with the club, extending his stay through to the end of the 2028 Super League season.

Lawler, 29, has become a cornerstone of the Tigers’ forward pack since joining from Hull KR in 2022. The versatile prop and loose forward is admired for his work rate, defensive grit, and leadership qualities on and off the field.

The deal ensures Castleford retain a key senior figure as they look to strengthen their squad and push toward Super League contention in the coming years.

This move continues Castleford’s recent retention strategy, following a string of extensions for other key players as the club looks to solidify its core ahead of 2026.
