Castleford Tigers have secured a major strike weapon for the 2026 Super League season and beyond with the signing of Mikaele Ravalawa on a three-year deal.
The 27-year-old Fijian international has built a reputation as one of the NRL’s most powerful finishers. Since making his debut with St George Illawarra Dragons in 2019, Ravalawa has crossed for 67 tries in 98 appearances.
In 2025 he joined South Sydney Rabbitohs on loan, making three appearances before a serious hamstring injury sidelined him for most of the season. Despite the setback, Castleford see him as a marquee addition to their outside backs, capable of adding both strike power and experience as the club continues to rebuild.
Ravalawa has also represented Fiji on five occasions, showcasing his trademark power and ability to break tackles at the international level. His arrival will give Castleford a proven finisher out wide, with fans hopeful he can replicate his NRL try-scoring form in Super League.
