The North Queensland Cowboys have confirmed that Braidon Burns has re-signed for the 2026 NRL season.

Burns joined the Cowboys in 2024 and has become a dependable backline option. Known for his strength and reliability in both centre and wing roles, Burns has made 74 NRL appearances across his time with South Sydney, Canterbury, and now North Queensland, scoring 23 tries.

In 2025, Burns has played in 8 matches for the Cowboys where he has scored two tries. Last weekend was the first time he’d been part of a winning Cowboys side this year after being involved in seven defeats previously.
