Bradford Bulls have confirmed a double boost for 2026, with Guy Armitage re-signing for another year and Ethan Ryan making a sensational return to the club on a three-year deal.
Armitage, 33, has been one of Bradford’s most consistent performers this season, scoring 15 tries in 23 games during the 2025 campaign. The powerful centre or winger brings invaluable experience and leadership to the squad, having previously starred for Toulouse Olympique between 2021 and 2024, where he scored 41 tries in 56 games. His rugby league journey began with the London Broncos in 2019, following a career in rugby union.
Meanwhile, Ryan’s homecoming marks a significant moment for the club. The 28-year-old winger returns to Odsal after six years away, during which he impressed in Super League with Hull KR and Salford Red Devils. Known for his blistering pace and finishing ability, Ryan was a fan favourite in his previous stint at Bradford, scoring 88 tries in 98 appearances before his move to the top flight.
The announcements come during a week of major squad movement, following the departures of Kieran Gill, Nathan Mason, Bayley Liu, Tom Holmes, and Tyran Ott, alongside retirements of veterans Michael Lawrence and Chris Hill.
With the return of Ryan and the retention of Armitage, Bradford have laid a strong foundation as they prepare for a new era in 2026.
