The NRL Match Review Committee has handed down one charge from last night’s elimination finals played in Sydney and Auckland.

Isaiah Papali’i (Panthers) has been charged with a High Tackle – Careless (Grade 1) for his contact on Chanel Harris-Tavita in the 42nd minute of the match. The Penrith Panthers advanced to the second week of the finals with a strong 24-8 win over the Warriors at Mount Smart Stadium.

As this is his first offence, Papali’i faces a $1,000 fine with an early plea (or $1,500 if he contests unsuccessfully at the judiciary).

No other players from the Saturday elimination finals have been charged.
