The Brisbane Broncos have confirmed the re-signing of experienced outside back Delouise Hoeter for the 2026 NRL season, extending his stay with the club as they continue to strengthen their depth and experience across the backline.
Hoeter, 31, made one NRL appearance this year, featuring in the Broncos’ 22-18 win over the Bulldogs at Accor Stadium in Round 19 during the State of Origin period. Despite limited first-grade opportunities in 2025, Hoeter has remained a consistent performer at the state level.
A stalwart of the Queensland Cup, Hoeter has built an impressive record with 78 tries in 154 appearances, predominantly representing Wynnum Manly Seagulls, where he has been a key figure for much of the past decade. His leadership, experience, and professionalism continue to make him a valuable asset for both the Broncos and their feeder system.
Re-signing Hoeter ensures the Broncos retain a reliable and seasoned campaigner who can step up when needed in the NRL while also guiding the club’s emerging talent through his on-field example in the Queensland Cup.
