After months of speculation and silence surrounding his future, Daly Cherry-Evans has finally put pen to paper — signing a one-year deal for the 2026 season in what will extend his storied NRL career into an 16th season.

Despite the snub, Cherry-Evans’ experience and professionalism made him one of the most sought-after playmakers on the market.
Boasting 350+ NRL games and a premiership ring from 2011, Cherry-Evans brings leadership, tactical kicking, and composure that few players can match. His addition marks a major coup for his new club, which is aiming to blend experience with emerging talent ahead of the 2026 campaign.
Joining Cherry-Evans in the new-look squad is Cody Ramsey, who signs on a two-year deal through 2027 after an interrupted few seasons at the St George Illawarra Dragons. Ramsey, 24, has battled ulcerative colitis but is now fully recovered and eager to reignite his career.
Meanwhile, promising forward Blake Steep has been rewarded for his breakout 2025 campaign with a contract extension until the end of 2028. The young prop played 22 NRL games in his rookie season and quickly became a fan favourite for his work rate and toughness in defence.
