South Sydney halfback Jayden Sullivan has committed his future to the Rabbitohs, signing a new two-year contract extension that will keep him at the club until the end of the 2027 NRL season.

Sullivan, 24, made 13 appearances in his first campaign with South Sydney before his season was cut short by a fibula fracture suffered while playing for the Rabbitohs’ NSW Cup side against the Newtown Jets in Round 17.

The dynamic playmaker joined South Sydney at the start of 2025 after stints with the St George Illawarra Dragons (27 games between 2020–2023) and the Wests Tigers (8 games in 2024). Despite his year ending prematurely, Sullivan impressed with his creativity and energy in the halves, forming a promising combination with Souths’ spine during the club’s mid-season resurgence.

Sullivan is expected to be fit for pre-season training in late 2025, with the Rabbitohs hopeful he can return to full strength ahead of Round 1 next year.
