Centre of the Year – Latrell Mitchell

Latrell Mitchell continued to dominate in the centres for the Roosters in 2019, scoring 19 tries in becoming the leading point scorer with 273 points.

It could be argued that his best form came before his dumping from the New South Wales Origin series. He was at his destructive best against the Tigers at the Sydney Cricket Ground in round 8 where he tallied 26 points including a hat-trick.

Facing an uncertain future at Bondi, Mitchell’s 2020 will be all the more important to prospective employers.
