Analysis

BUOYED by a great run to end the 2019 season, the Bulldogs will be pleasantly surprised with their draw for 2020.

Starting the season poorly has been a bad habit for the blue and whites, but they have a chance to notch a few wins with their first four clashes (Eels, Cowboys, Tigers and Sharks) being teams they knocked off at least once in 2019.

They also only face heavyweights the Roosters, Storm and Raiders once throughout the regular season. They play just three Sunday fixtures and only one Monday fixture, yet feature 11 times on a Saturday, 4 on a Thursday and 5 on a Friday.

They won’t leave New South Wales until the seventh round when they travel north to take on the Cowboys before staying in Queensland for Magic Round.
