Preview
Thursday night’s action concludes with Warrington coming up against Castleford, with the Tigers out for revenge after losing by a single point to Wire earlier in the season. The Wolves have won six games on the spin, while Cas ended their three-game losing streak last time out.
Daryl Powell has made two changes to the squad that beat Salford; James Clare and youngster Lewis Peachey return in place of Bailey Hodgson and Jesse Sene-Lefao, with the latter stood down by the club earlier this week.
Steve Price is still without seven first-team players due to track and trace protocols but does have Ben Murdoch-Masila returning from suspension. Young forward Eribe Doro could make his first appearance for the club.
Prediction
It’s difficult to look past a Warrington win, given the Wolves impressive string of wins which began with that last gasp home success against the Tigers back in March. Castleford will be hoping to improve on their last display at the Totally Wicked Stadium, when they were kept to nil by St Helens, but will need to be at their best to claim the two points.
