It was the end of an era for three Leeds stalwarts at the end of the 2015 Super League season with Kevin Sinfield, Jamie Peacock and Kylie Leuluai all retiring from the sport following the conclusion of that year’s Grand Final. Both Peacock and Leuluai had played over 250 matches for Leeds, with Sinfield having made more than 500 appearances during his 18-year association with the Headingley club. In a tight affair, Leeds edged out Wigan 22-20 at Old Trafford, with Sinfield kicking three goals including the winning two points to complete a domestic treble for Brian McDermott’s men.
