Hull FC have announced the signing of prop forward Sam Lisone from Leeds Rhinos on a two-year contract commencing in the 2026 Super League season. The 31-year-old New Zealand-born forward brings a wealth of experience from both the NRL and Super League.

Lisone, who has represented Samoa internationally, began his professional career with the New Zealand Warriors before moving to the Gold Coast Titans. In 2023, he joined Leeds Rhinos, making 67 appearances and scoring 13 tries over two and a half seasons. His dynamic playing style and leadership qualities have been evident throughout his tenure in the Super League.

The move to Hull FC reunites Lisone with former Titans teammate Herman Ese’ese.

Lisone’s signing is part of Hull FC’s broader recruitment strategy, which includes the recent acquisitions of James Bell from St Helens and Harvie Hill from Wigan Warriors. These signings aim to strengthen the squad ahead of the 2026 season.
