The Parramatta Eels have announced the signing of veteran forward Jack de Belin from St George Illawarra Dragons on a two-year contract, commencing in 2026, with a club option for 2027.
De Belin, 34, wraps up a distinguished 15-season stint at the Dragons, amassing 245 first-grade appearances since his debut in 2011. Considered one of the most durable forwards in the league, he logged 16 games in 2025, averaging 114 running metres and 34 tackles per match.
A three-time NSW Blues representative, de Belin brings significant experience and defensive grit to Parramatta’s forward pack—strengthening their spine after the departures of Bryce Cartwright and Joe Ofahengaue this season. His move is expected to bolster the Eels under coach Jason Ryles, who has also secured other signings like Zac Lomax, Dean Hawkins, Ronald Volkman, and Tallyn Da Silva.
