Catalans Dragons have announced the signing of Iszac Fa’asuamaleaui on a two-year deal beginning in the 2026 Super League season.

The 23-year-old prop, who has been part of the Gold Coast Titans system since 2020, brings size and power to the Catalans forward pack as Joel Tomkins continues to reshape the squad. Standing at 194cm and weighing 110kg, Fa’asuamaleaui has already shown his potential in the NRL and will now take the next step in his career in the south of France.

Fa’asuamaleaui made his NRL debut in March 2023 against Melbourne Storm and has since gone on to make 25 NRL appearances for the Titans, as well as 46 Queensland Cup matches with feeder club Burleigh Bears. In 2025, he featured in 11 NRL games, further establishing himself as a promising middle forward.

Speaking about his move, Fa’asuamaleaui said:

“I’m really excited and grateful to have signed with the Catalans Dragons and be part of such a proud club. It’s a great opportunity for me to improve my game, gain experience, and be part of what Joel Tomkins is building. I’m looking forward to living in the south of France with my family and ripping into preseason.”

Head coach Joel Tomkins added:

“I believe Iszac is entering his prime years as a middle forward. He’s fully committed to what we’re trying to build at the club and motivated to reach his full potential.”

This marks another statement signing for Catalans, who recently secured Solomona Faataape, Harvey Wilson, and the re-signing of veteran Julian Bousquet.
