The NRL Match Review Committee has finalised all charges from the 2025 Preliminary Finals, confirming that no players will miss the Grand Final next Sunday.
- Trent Loiero (Storm) was charged with dangerous contact on Cronulla’s Nicho Hynes in the 11th minute of Melbourne’s 22-14 victory. With an early guilty plea, Loiero avoids suspension and pays a $1,000 fine.
- Xavier Willison (Broncos) received a Grade 1 dangerous contact charge for a cannonball-style tackle on Luke Garner in Brisbane’s 16-14 prelim win over Penrith. He also takes a $1,000 fine but is cleared to play.
- Liam Martin (Panthers) was cited for contrary conduct in the 55th minute on Ezra Mam. Like the others, Martin took the early plea and will be available for selection.
This means that all squads are at full strength as the Melbourne Storm and Brisbane Broncos prepare for the 2025 NRL Grand Final, promising a blockbuster decider.
